Yagena Smart Navigation Journey | China’s first new-energy bulk carrier for nearshore navigation areas, the “Weiqiao Lvdong 1,” has been successfully delivered. The ship-shore information solution it features is paving the way for a new era of smart shipping.

Warmest congratulations on the delivery and departure of Weiqiao Jiada New Energy’s first 10,000-ton container-type battery-swap hybrid new-energy vessel!

Yagena’s ship-shore integrated information solution, tailored specifically for this vessel, has been simultaneously implemented, injecting core momentum into shipping safety and efficient operations through digital and intelligent technologies.

I. Core Function: Real-time Intelligent Control Across All Scenarios

Real-time vessel dynamic tracking: Accurately captures key data such as vessel navigation trajectories and speeds, enabling shore-based operators to gain comprehensive control over the vessel’s navigation status.

Real-time monitoring and playback: Build a surveillance network with no blind spots, supporting video playback of the entire navigation process. Provide reliable evidence for event tracing.

Real-time operational monitoring: 24-hour tracking of ship equipment operating status, timely detection of abnormal signals, and prevention of equipment failure risks.

II. Compliance Assurance: Aligning with Requirements of Authoritative Standards

The crew behavior safety supervision fully complies with the China Maritime Administration’s “Technical Guidelines for Ship Intelligent Monitoring Systems (Version 1.0).” Through AI-powered intelligent analysis, it identifies in real time risky behaviors such as fatigued driving and non-compliant operations, thereby strengthening the defense line for navigational safety.

In compliance with relevant requirements, such as the “Technical Notice on Online Data Access for Battery-Powered Vessels” issued by the Wuhan Rules of the China Classification Society, we have successfully integrated the “Digital Auxiliary Inspection System for Battery-Powered Vessels,” providing efficient data support for vessel inspections and contributing to the standardized operation of green, new-energy vessels.

The delivery of this first vessel marks an important milestone in the cooperation between the two parties. Moving forward, Yagena will continue to deepen its collaboration with Weiqiao Jiada, building a comprehensive, ecosystem-based ship operation and management platform that covers the entire lifecycle—from vessel navigation and equipment maintenance to crew management and compliance inspection—thus driving the shipping industry toward a high-quality transformation characterized by digitalization, intelligence, and sustainability.
