A delegation from Singapore’s Whale Ocean Works Pte. Ltd. visited Hangzhou Yagena Technology for a tour and exchange.

On April 11, 2026, a delegation led by Andy Wang, CEO of Singapore’s Whale Ocean Works Pte. Ltd. (WOW), visited Hangzhou Yagena Technology Co., Ltd. for an exchange and tour. The company’s General Manager, Wang Xiaofeng, together with key members from the Technology, Product, and Marketing Solutions departments, extended a warm welcome to the visiting team. During the visit, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on ship intelligence, cybersecurity, ship management systems, and other related areas, exploring new opportunities for collaboration and development.

Prior to the start of the meeting, Andy Wang and his delegation toured the company’s office facilities, gaining an in-depth understanding of Hangzhou Yagena’s development history, its R&D capabilities, and its project achievements. They expressed high praise for Yagena’s technological innovations in the field of ship intelligence and its extensive industry service experience.

During the symposium and exchange session, the Yagena Technology team provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s core business segments, highlighting their technological strengths and practical achievements. The team focused on presenting end-to-end technical solutions in areas such as intelligent energy-efficiency management, smart engine rooms, intelligent navigation, smart hull design, intelligent integration platforms, and integrated navigation systems (INS), while also offering an in-depth discussion of ship cybersecurity architecture design, key protective measures, and hands-on experience in deploying all-optical networks and selecting communication protocols. In addition, by showcasing exemplary application cases—including man-overboard rescue systems, UWB-based personnel positioning systems, AI-driven behavior analysis, and ship management platforms—the team fully demonstrated Yagena Technology’s capability to deliver comprehensive, scenario-specific smart shipping services. These results garnered significant attention and keen interest from the visiting delegation.

During the symposium, the two parties engaged in thorough discussions based on their respective operational needs, exchanging views on key technical aspects of semi-submersible vessel intelligent systems, detailed cybersecurity safeguards for ships, and the adaptation and application of smart equipment. They identified areas of alignment regarding technical standards and product compatibility, among others. The technical teams then focused on specific application scenarios, conducting in-depth coordination on the practical implementation details of the system, thereby further strengthening mutual trust and establishing clear communication channels for future collaboration.

The visit by the WOW team not only established a robust platform for in-depth dialogue between the two parties but also forged a high degree of consensus on the future direction of ship intelligence. Both sides unanimously agreed to take this exchange as an opportunity to further deepen collaborative exploration in areas such as intelligent ship systems, cybersecurity, and ship-shore collaboration, working together to advance the maritime industry toward greater safety, efficiency, and intelligence.
